Why timing beats raw mechanics

Most Arma Reforger deaths are late by two seconds, not weak by twenty aim points. Arma Reforger is a milsim sandbox where stamina, radio, and combined-arms timing decide objectives. The players who last are the ones who already decided when they would leave.

Build a clock around radio net, stamina on approaches, vehicle overwatch, cap timing. If you cannot name the next twenty seconds, you are wandering. This angle is written so it stands on its own — not as a clone of another Arma Reforger page.

A simple clock you can actually keep

Use a three-beat clock: enter, take one job, leave. In town caps, forest approaches, airfields, that might mean one loot cluster or one angle — not a full clear.

Say the clock out loud once. It sounds silly and it stops you from “just one more crate.” Pair it with one role, radio-only squad, slow cap approaches.

Where players waste the most seconds

Typical time sinks: running without a net; parking logi in the open; ignoring stamina. Each one feels justified in the moment and expensive ten seconds later.

If a fight is already lost on the clock, disengage. Arma Reforger punishes pride more than it punishes average aim.

A session plan for this week

This week: five sessions with a hard leave time. Write whether you extracted, rotated, or reset — not whether the clip looked good.

Keep the same clock on town caps until it is automatic. Then move the drill, not the whole playbook.
